Jozua 17:12

SVEn de kinderen van Manasse konden [de inwoners van] die steden niet verdrijven; want de Kanaanieten wilden in hetzelve land wonen.
WLCוְלֹ֤א יָכְלוּ֙ בְּנֵ֣י מְנַשֶּׁ֔ה לְהֹורִ֖ישׁ אֶת־הֶֽעָרִ֣ים הָאֵ֑לֶּה וַיֹּ֙ואֶל֙ הַֽכְּנַעֲנִ֔י לָשֶׁ֖בֶת בָּאָ֥רֶץ הַזֹּֽאת׃

wəlō’ yāḵəlû bənê mənaššeh ləhwōrîš ’eṯ-he‘ārîm hā’ēlleh wayywō’el hakəna‘ănî lāšeḇeṯ bā’āreṣ hazzō’ṯ:


ACיב ולא יכלו בני מנשה להוריש את הערים האלה ויואל הכנעני לשבת בארץ הזאת
ASVYet the children of Manasseh could not drive out [the inhabitants of] those cities; but the Canaanites would dwell in that land.
BEBut the children of Manasseh were not able to make the people of those towns go out; but the Canaanites would go on living in that land.
